I grew up in Melbourne, Australia. When I was just six years old I got my first camera, an Agfa Optima 35mm rangefinder and have had a camera with me from that day.
I hold a Bachelor of Science (Hons)(Photography) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (1997) and have screened and shown work in group contexts at festivals such as Capture Photography Festival and The Vancouver Art Gallery. I am a 2018 recipient of an Explore & Create grant from the Canada Council of the Arts for my current solo body of work, examining the legacy and radioactivity of uranium mining in Canada and the United States. I am also a member of the Atomic Photographers Guild, an international group dedicated to making visible all facets of the nuclear age.
