the cirkut camera

From the camera itself to the moment the 100-year-old spring-driven motor is started, the Cirkut panoramic camera creates an experience no digital camera can replicate!
Invented in 1904, Cirkut cameras are completely analog, specialized large format cameras that use large, 10” wide rolls of analog photographic film. No digital! They used to be known as "full-rotation" cameras, because the camera rotates on a large gear to take 360° photographs. Cirkuts were manufactured until 1945. They are not simple cameras to operate, and have the ability to take massive images, ideal for capturing large group portraits that can number in the thousands of individuals.
Perfect for special events, conferences, work teams or even school events, the Cirkut transforms a photo session into the extraordinary!

Group portraits with the Cirkut can include thousands of people and can be up to seven feet long, perfect for:
Unique wedding group portraits
Corporate events and conferences.
School functions and groups
Sports teams and events
Special interest groups
Family reunions and gatherings.
There are several options for prints:
OPTION 1: Digital prints
Digital prints provide an economical option. The images will be printed using professional quality inkjet paper and a beautiful pearl surface printed using Piezography archival inks.
OPTION 2: Silver Prints
Silver prints provide a completely analog experience, creating striking archival black and white prints with a one-inch white border for framing. The images will be printed using exhibition quality Ilford Galerie Double-Weight fiber based paper and a beautiful gloss surface.
OPTION 3: Handmade prints in precious metal pigments:
I am also a specialist in the following historical printing processes:
Kallitype - printing in silver, creating a neutral-tone image
Palladiotype - printing with palladium and platinum, creating a warm-tone image
Chrysotype - printing with gold, creating a dark, midnight-blue image.
These techniques involved hand coating the paper with light sensitive salts of these precious metals to create an exquisite, handmade photographic print using high quality watercolor paper. Admired by collectors and institutions for their stunning tonality and archival qualities, these prints will last generations. Indicate in your form if you’re interested in getting a print with one of these processes.
